1. Child Development & Psychology (30 Marks)

• Key Theories: Critical perspectives of Piaget, Kohlberg, and Vygotsky; Freud's Psychosexual Development Theory; Erikson's Psychosocial Theory; and Bandura's Social Learning Theory.
• Inclusive Education: Addressing diverse learners, socioeconomic disadvantages, learning disabilities, and nurturing gifted/specially-abled children.

2. Language Proficiency (30 Marks)

3. General Studies (30 Marks)

• Quantitative Aptitude (10 Marks): Whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, profit & loss, ratio & proportion, time & work, averages, basic algebra, geometry (triangles, circles), basic trigonometry, and data graphs (pie charts, histograms).

While the topics are based on the prescribed syllabus for classes 9th to 12th by the Education Department of Haryana, the difficulty standard of the questions can extend up to the Post-Graduate level.

• Sources & Prehistory: Sources of Ancient Indian History; Prehistoric Civilization: From Hunter-gatherer to Neolithic Revolution.
• Early Civilizations: Harappan Civilization (Sites and salient features).
• Religious Trends: Vedic period, Buddhism, and Jainism (Basic facts and comparison).

• Culture & Trade: Foreign Invaders and their inclusion in Indian culture; Trade and major trade routes; Urbanization; Expansion of Indian Culture in the World; Art & Architecture from ancient to Post-Gupta period.

B) Medieval India

• Early Medieval (700 AD to 1200 AD): Sources of History of Medieval India (700 AD to 1750 AD); Tripartite Struggle (Palas, Pratiharas, and Rashtrakutas); King Dahir and Anangpal; Suhaldev and Prithvi Raj Chauhan.
• Sultanate & Mughals: Delhi Sultanate and Mughals (Administration and Policies).
• Regional Powers: Vijaynagar Empire; Chattarpati Shivaji and Marathas.
• Society & Culture: Medieval Art & Architecture; Languages and Literature; Social-Religious Movements (Bhakti, Sufi, Tradition of Sikh Gurus, Nayanars, and Alwars); Trade and Commerce; Urban Centers; Agrarian Society during Medieval India.

C) Modern India

• 18th Century & Colonialism: Sources of Modern Indian History; India in the 18th Century; European Companies and their conflict in Bengal and other Indian states.
• Economic Impact: Change in Land Revenue System; Early Indian Resistance; Colonization and its effect on the indigenous textile industry (Origin of Industrialization).
• Revolt & Reform: Revolution of 1857 (Causes, Events, Nature, and Repercussion); Indian Renaissance of the 18th century (Women and Low caste emancipation); British Education Policy.
• National Movement: Rise of Nationalism; Indian National Movement (1885-1947); Role of Gandhi Ji, Neta Ji & INA; Independence & Partition; Framing of the Indian Constitution; Role of Haryana in the Indian National Movement.
